A progress bar for Notion: by hand, by formula or from your tasks
Write your goals and how far you are, and get clean progress bars with a countdown to the deadline — without building a formula. Free, no account. Or let the bars count done tasks in your Notion database.

The numbers live in the link. When they change, update them here and replace the link in Notion (⋯ → Replace URL on the embed).

- 2In any Notion page type
/embed, press Enter, paste the link and click Embed link. - 3Drag the corners of the embed to resize it. The countdown updates by itself.
Numbers in the link or your tasks database
Numbers in the link
Fastest: no formula, no database. Good for yearly goals, savings, reading lists — anything you update now and then.
Counted from your tasks
Point the widget at a Notion tasks database with a “Done” checkbox and a relation to goals. IVGraph counts done tasks for each goal after every sync and shows the nearest deadline.
Progress bar inside a Notion database: 3 recipes
If the bar should live in a table row rather than on a dashboard, Notion can draw it itself.
1. Built-in bar for a number
Add a Number or Formula property with a value from 0 to 1 (for example prop("Done") / prop("Total")), open its settings, choose Number format → Percent and Show as → Bar or Ring, then pick a color.
2. Text bar with squares
repeat("■", round(prop("Done") / prop("Total") * 10)) + repeat("□", 10 - round(prop("Done") / prop("Total") * 10)) + " " + format(round(prop("Done") / prop("Total") * 100)) + "%"3. Percent of done tasks for a project
In a Projects database with a relation to Tasks, add a Rollup: relation Tasks, property Done (checkbox), calculate Percent checked, then Show as → Bar. The bar fills as tasks get checked.
The widget is for the page itself: several goals in one block, with a countdown, on any dashboard.

FAQ
Is the progress bar widget free?
Yes — goals in the link are free with no account and no limits. The version that counts done tasks in your Notion database comes with an IVGraph account: one widget free, more on Starter.
Does Notion have a built-in progress bar?
Yes, inside databases: a number, formula or rollup can be shown as a bar or ring. It lives in a table cell. For a dashboard page with several goals and a countdown, use the widget.
Does the widget update by itself?
The countdown does. Numbers in the link change when you change the link. The version connected to your Notion database updates after every sync.
How many goals fit in one widget?
Up to eight. If the embed is short, rows that don’t fit are hidden — drag the embed taller to see them.
Does it see my Notion data?
The free version doesn’t — everything comes from its link. The connected version reads only the databases you choose in IVGraph.
